Beginners workout – what is it all about

Quite a lot has already been said on the topic of beginners workout throughout the articles i have written in the last few days all around the web. To recap it all here, and clear thing out, YES, you will exercise in low volumes, meaning you only do a few workouts a week, YES there will be an emphasis on the recovery time, YES the exercise sessions will be very brief, it will not take hours to go through with it...

but also...

YES, it will be very intense!

What most people fail to take into consideration is that the workout itself does not benefit the body. Workout itself is a stress to the body, so in this beginners workout we will try to reduce the amount of stress as much as possible, while still producing the most results in the given time.

By keeping the workouts brief and intense, we are sending a message to the body, that it needs to grow and improve to survive (our brains are still hardwired to the tribal times, where brief and intense physical
activity meant that you were either chasing food or being chased as prey). Giving your body the time to grow  (emphasis on recovery and rest) you will be able to see results way faster than you would if you'd stress your body with long workouts and high intensity running (the way 95% of people that want to get in shape work out)
